Rainbow Path is an advocacy and peer support group for the rights of Rainbow refugees and asylum seekers living in Aotearoa New Zealand. It is led by Rainbow refugees and asylum seekers, with support from other Rainbow human rights defenders.

Information for LGBTQIA+ (Rainbow) people seeking safety

Rainbow Path is getting a lot of requests for information from LGBTQIA+ (Rainbow) people overseas who are trying to leave countries where they do not feel safe. We understand it is a really hard time for Rainbow communities, especially transgender people, all over the world right now.

What We Do

Rainbow Path supports Rainbow asylum seekers and refugees living in Aotearoa New Zealand, leads advocacy work on our human rights, and increases allies’ awareness of the issues we face and builds support for changes to laws, policies and practices.
